The two offers are separate, and you can use both. If you are opening or re-equipping a restaurant, the sign-up bonus is yours. If you know operators who are overpaying, the referral bonus pays you for the introduction — and there is nothing stopping you from claiming both.

It is not a switching offer: any new merchant doing at least $30,000 a month in card volume can qualify, whether you are leaving another POS or opening your doors for the first time. If you are switching, most operators put it straight toward whatever their old provider charges them to leave.
